April 2003

• April 21, Monday 6:30 pm – Citadel Mall, We meet outside the NE corner mall entrance between Dillard’s and Mervyn’s – we’ll be working stairs, surfaces, food court and people interactions with our puppies.
• April 26: 10am-3pm, Arapahoe County Extension Office, Littleton, CO Puppy Workshop

• May 12 Monday at 6:30 pm: training meeting at Hillside Community Center
• May 17: we have a booth at the Pet Fair on Fort Carson at the Soldiers Field House on Specker Ave.
• May 20, Tuesday 6-8 pm – Vision Loss Services Center, cancelled! - meet at Home Depot instead

• June 2 - 6:30 - 8:00 - Hillside Community Center, bring puppy manuals to use in scavenger hunt. Barb Deevers to visit?
• June 24 - Hillside Community Center presentations about Guide Dogs from 9:30 until 11:00.
• June 27 - Sky Sox game at Sky Sox Stadium
• June 28 - puppy truck arrival

• July 7 - 6:30 - 8:00 - Hillside Community Center, Bring puppy manuals to use in scavenger hunt.
• July 21 - 6:30 - Super Target on Powers. We'll be working people interactions and food distractions.
• July 23 is ADA Awareness Day at Bear Creek Park 8:30am - 1:00pm. City and County Officials will learn about disabilities and various service dog groups will present information about what they do. Leading will Love will present from 10:30 - 11:00 and a complimentary lunch will be served from 12:00 - 1:00.
• July 25 - serve pie to senior citizens at the county fair

• August 4, 6:30 - 8:00 - Hillside Community Center, Bring puppy raising manuals
• August 10 - puppy truck arrival in Denver - Sage recalled
• August 18, 6:30 - 8:00 - Acacia Park, meet at the fountain

• Sept. 1st - Annual Fountain Fall Festival Parade. Meet at 9 am. Booth in Metcalfe Park afterwards. More info soon.
• Sept. 8th - Project records due to your leader by this date. Call your leader if you need help.
• Sept. 15th, 6:30 - 8:00 - Hillside Community Center. Bring Puppy manual. Topic will be RECALL.
• Sept. 20th - Puppy raising Workshop, 10 - 3, Littleton, CO (Arapahoe Co. Extension office)
• Sept. 30th - Kiwanis presentation; contact Becky Bain for more information

• Oct. 6th - Hillside Community Center. Bring Puppy manual. Topic: Recall (bring tissues!)
• Oct. 20th - Becky's House, Fall Party. Bring a treat to share, some dog treats and your dog's bowl (wait command). Dogs must come in costume, Human costumes optional.
• Oct. 24th - Puppy Truck - Kalina, Putter, Ripa, Vaquero recalled

• Nov. 3rd - Hillside Community Center. Bring manual. Topic: TBA
• Nov. 18th, Tuesday 6-8 pm – Vision Loss Services Center 5636 North Union Blvd (Vickers & Union)

• Dec. 1st - Hillside Community Center. Today we will work on unusual meetings: bearded man, hats, uniforms, crutches, walkers etc. If you have anything unusual to wear or bring please do so. Barb will be coming and will bring both her dogs.
• Dec. 15th - Christmas party, Chantal & Andrew's house
• Dec. 29th - tentative date for party for Hillside children

• January 5 - Welcome back! Hillside Community Center. Bring Puppy Raising Manuals.

February 2004

• February 2 - meeting at Hillside. Barb Deever's in attendance.
• February 15 & 16 - AKC dog show, Denver Colloseum, 7:30 till 5:00 each day. We are raising funds for our club by being part of the clean up crew.
• Tuesday, February 17 - Meeting at Mitchell High School, Basketball game.

March 2004

• March 15, 6-8 pm. Meeting planner: Lynda Thomas. We will be meeting at the new Fire Station on Dublin and Academy just behind the old Pier One.
